		<description>There are some misunderstandings in this article.  xvp was not written by Citrix, and is not just TightVNC with protocol additions.  xvpviewer isn&#039;t meant for connecting to XenSever or XCP directly, instead it&#039;s meant to go via the xvp proxy server, which handles all the Xen console issues, and will enable the Shutdown/Reboot/Reset buttons on the viewer so you can manage the power state of the VM.  I would not recommend people hack the source of xvpviewer in the way suggested, but instead refer to the xvp project website at www.xvpsource.org.</description>
